Let’s just stop for a moment and consider this... As Entertainment Weekly pointed out, Eminem now has more Academy Awards than Martin Scorsese... but I don’t think anyone else has made note of this: I believe that "Lose Yourself" is the first song to win an Oscar which has the word "vomit" as a lyric... I’m just saying.

Roman Polanski has proven himself to be a big ol’ spoiled baby (not a shock to ME who actually read the Vanity Fair story about what really happened... statuatory rape, my foot! He frickin’ raped that little girl, the plain old kind. She was thirteen! Having your wife murdered by Charles Manson does not excuse child molestation, Mr. Polanski, and, Dear Hollywood, the passage of several years shouldn’t excuse it either). But why the spoiled baby part? Well, Adrien Brody, in his head-rush excitement at unexpectedly winning Best Actor, forgot to thank Polanski and now Polanski has called him names to the press and said he will never work with him again. Amazing, isn’t it, that he whom so many people are in such a rush to forgive and overlook cannot himself forgive or overlook. And this was nothing — not like rape. Not like violating a thirteen year old girl. The guy just forgot to thank him in all the excitement... Hmm. Classy.
